Parker Brothers Ping-Pong set (they own the name Ping-Pong, all others use the name Table Tennis). A highlight of this set is an intact Laws of Ping-Pong, copyright 1902. The Laws state Ping-Pong, registered trademark, The Great Tennis Game for the Table, etc., and then describe how to play (with a picture of a competitor, a woman in a floor-length skirt). The components in the box--two all-wood rackets (with Parker Bros. stamp), net and netposts and three balls--are all in good collectable condition. The box is a bit rough, but still readable and collectable. Among other things it states: Caution, Ping-Pong Always Bears the Famous and Registered Title Ping-Pong Upon the Box, Rackets and Balls, Parker Brothers Inc., Salem, Mass., New York, London, Made in U.S.A.
